Distinguished Lecture at FLASH Aït Melloul: Heidegger, Technology, and the Crisis of Being
As part of its ongoing commitment to academic excellence and international openness, the Faculty of Languages, Arts and Humanities – Aït Melloul hosted, on April 7th, 2026, a distinguished lecture entitled:“Heidegger, Technology, and the Crisis of Being: Language, Art, and the Question of Ideology.” The lecture was delivered by Dr. Richard Wolin, a renowned scholar in the fields of the history of ideas, comparative literature, and political science. His presentation offered a profound and thought-provoking reflection on key contemporary philosophical issues, addressing the complex relationships between language, art, technology, and ideology. The session was moderated by Dr. Omar Hansali, whose guidance contributed to the richness of the discussions and fostered a dynamic and engaging academic exchange among students, researchers, and faculty members.
Bridges across cultures: exploring amazigh identity and civic engagement
The Faculty of Languages, Arts and Human Sciences of Aït Melloul welcomed a group of American students from the SIT Program for a seminar entitled: “Imazighen: The Free People of North Africa.” Organized in a spirit of academic openness, intercultural dialogue, and knowledge sharing, this seminar was part of the students’ visit to the Souss region. The session was facilitated by Professor Hassane Oudadene, fostering meaningful discussions on Amazigh history, culture, and contemporary social dynamics. As an open and internationally engaged campus, FLASH Aït Melloul is committed to building bridges between universities, cultures, and local communities, promoting academic mobility, international partnerships, and socially grounded research. In this context, the group also visited the Tamaynut Association in Inzegane, gaining deeper insights into civic activism and cultural advocacy related to the Amazigh cause. Special thanks go to Professor Tayeb Belghazi for choosing FLASH Aït Melloul as a hub for global learning, intercultural exchange, and academic cooperation.
FLASH Aït Melloul : une coopération internationale fondée sur l’ouverture, la rigueur et l’intelligence collective
Dans le cadre de sa dynamique d’ouverture sur l’international et de renforcement des partenariats académiques, la Faculté des Langues, des Arts et des Sciences Humaines d’Aït Melloul a accueilli Mme Chantal Mazaeff, Directrice générale de l’École Supérieure de Praxis Sociale de Mulhouse (Alsace), pour une rencontre de travail consacrée aux perspectives de coopération académique autour de l’intervention sociale. Reçue par M. Jayed Abdelkhaleq, Doyen de la Faculté des Langues, Arts et Sciences Humaines (FLASH Aït Melloul), cette initiative s’inscrit dans une vision où la communication se veut rigoureuse, transparente et non sélective, au service de projets structurants et durables. Elle est portée par M. Rachid Benibih, coordinateur de la filière Assistance sociale, à l’origine de cette démarche, accompagné de M. Bouchaib Majdoul, Chef du département Culture et Société, dont l’implication a contribué à la richesse des échanges. Mme Chantal Mazaeff était également accompagnée de M. Omar El Jid, Responsable de Formation à Praxis – chargé de recherche, ainsi que de M. El Aarouji, acteur associatif fortement engagé en faveur des Personnes en Situation de Handicap (PSH), apportant une expertise de terrain essentielle aux discussions. Les échanges ont porté sur la formation, la recherche appliquée, la mobilité académique, ainsi que le partage d’expériences et de bonnes pratiques entre les deux institutions. À travers ce type de rencontres, la FLASH Aït Melloul confirme son rôle de plateforme universitaire ouverte, créant des ponts entre les savoirs, les territoires et les acteurs, et affirmant sa volonté de contribuer activement aux enjeux sociaux contemporains à l’échelle nationale et internationale.
